JCC Executive Director Mowen Hopeful in Reopening Congregate Meal Sites for Local Seniors

Share

Jamieson Community Center is working to reopen their congregate meal sites, says Executive Director Nancy Mowen:

“They have been closed for a long time. This is part of our Senior Nutrition program, and we would really like to reopen them. I have had ads placed for a while for Site Managers. A Site Manger would help serve the meals, socialize with the seniors, and do some paperwork. It is about a 15 hour a week position. Benefits are its only Monday through Friday and hours are approximately 10 am to 1 pm.”

Director Mowen says a Food Service Safety Manager Certification and Jamieson Center can provide training.
