M-R Claims State Champs Title in Solo & Ensemble and Organizational

Monmouth-Roseville’s High School band and choir programs are state champions shares Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“We have state champs in Class B overall competition, which includes the Solo and Ensemble plus the Organizational piece of our music program. I was at the symphonic band performance and M-R showed out. Kudos to our parents. We had that side of the gym filled up, not only with parents, but our choir program was there representing and supporting their friends who were in that band. They did a great job. Mr. Barshinger, Ms. Hallen, and Mr. Ferry, they do a great job working with the kids and setting the table for working hard.”

This was the first in-person IHSA Organizational Contest since 2019.
