Man And Dog Rescued From Flooding Car

A man and dog are now recovering after being rescued from a car filling up with drainage ditch water.  The Burlington Fire Department is reporting a car was found upside down in a drainage ditch in Gulfport, Illinois, Tuesday afternoon.  The car was filling with water with a man and dog trapped inside.  The man was transported to Medforce Aeromedical Transport and the dog is being treated by Henderson County Animal Control.
