Medical Equipment Available Through Strom Center

Share

Numerous services are available through Strom Center for local seniors, with one of those being a medical equipment program, which is free of charge, says Director Carol McCrery:

“Anne Libey is in charge of that. Under her organization, we are just getting so many, many people. I think she said there were 35 items loaned out for March, but we have a lot of calls for that medical equipment. She makes sure that everything is sterilized when it comes back. Nothing goes out that is any way less than perfect shape. We are constantly trying to renew with some of our donated funds and the thrift shop funds; we are able to keep those items in stock.”

Additionally, the next TRIAD meeting at Monmouth’s Strom Center will be held Thursday, April 14th at 1 pm. OSF Holy Family Medical Center’s Diabetes Education Coordinator Tina Canada will be the guest speaker.
