On Friday, April 29th, the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual Chamber member dinner and awards night at the Monmouth Country Club; with registration beginning at 5 pm. Executive Director Kelli Kinzer says the theme will be a Casino Night:

“The theme is Casino Night. We have a group that comes from Chicago with gaming tables and dealers. We are not gambling, we are not dealing money, but it is in exchange for chips for tickets and then take those tickets at the end of the night and trade them in for drawings of grand prizes. It is going to be super fun. It is catered by the Patton Block. The Monmouth-Roseville kiddos that are earning their way to Costa Rica, the Chamber is going to have them out and serving the meal to the patrons. They also are going to be collecting tips. Then Midwest Bank is giving everybody two complimentary cocktails to start the evening off.”

Large and small business and citizen of the year awards will also be presented during the evening’s festivities.
