The Monmouth Country Club has been in the community since October of 1900. Featuring a nine hole course and clubhouse available to the public for rent, President Jeff Thompson shares the club is undergoing renovations both inside and out:
“We are doing some things to the clubhouse, going under a cap x campaign. What we are going to be doing, we put a new roof on last fall, what we are doing with the exterior is putting on new siding, get rid of a lot of vents that don’t belong and old covered up windows that are eye sores and we are also going to take the brick that is on the bottom half and paint that so the exterior will have new siding, a new paint scheme, new roof, and we will do some new landscaping and it will look a lot nicer outside. Then actually starting April 18th, we are going to have the bar and the dining room will have new carpet and laminate installed.”
