Monmouth-Roseville FFA Students Auctioned off This Wednesday for Labor

The Monmouth-Roseville FFA Alumni will hold their annual dinner and auction this Wednesday, April 6th at the Monmouth American Legion with the dinner beginning at six o’clock with the auction to follow around 6:45. FFA Alumni Treasurer Thad Tharp shares how the funds raised are utilized:

“This fundraiser raises funds for the alumni to help facilitate different FFA events. Jason Kilburn, the instructor there at the school does an excellent job with these kids, taking them all over the place and getting them introduced to all sorts of different life skills through these events. Between judging record books and helping with elections and we always sponsor and helping kids get into their corduroy jackets, those are not getting any cheaper; that is something the alumni does is help fund those, as well as our scholarship program. We do have a scholarship that goes out to the students and these funds are used for that as well.”

The Monmouth-Roseville FFA students will be auctioned off for four hours of labor each this Wednesday evening.
