Red Storm Baseball Knocks Off Blue Bullets

The United Red Storm knocked off the Knoxville Blue Bullets on Tuesday by the score of 6-5. The Red Storm had 11 hits in this one led by Jon Smith who went 3-4 and Cormaic Flynn who was 2-4. Also contributing were Aiden Parkins, Elliott Copeland, Colin Jenks, AJ Jenks, Matt Holmes and Carter Rothzen all with a hit. Tanner Rogers started for United on the mound and went 5 innings allowing 3 runs on 4 hits for the win. Matt Holmes went the final 2 innings allowing 2 runs on 1 hit. Combined United struck out 10 Blue Bullet batters. The Red Storm travel to Abingdon on Friday to tale on the Tornadoes.
