United Baseball Picks Up 11th Win of Season

In a bit of payback the United Red Storm baseball built a big lead and hung on for an 8-6 win over the Orion Chargers. Orion beat United in the season opener by building an early lead and then holding off a United rally. Jon Smith started this one for the Red Storm and went 4 innings allowing 4 runs on 4 hits before AJ Jenks came in for the final 3 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. The Red Storm got their 8 runs on just 5 hits led by Cormaic Flynn with 2 hits while Colin Jenks, Carter Rothzen and Jon Smith all added a hit. With the win United moved their record to 11-5 on the season.
