Volunteers Needed!

No one is in the fight alone against cancer. With several events planned throughout the calendar year and support just a phone call away, volunteers are always needed, says American Cancer Society Senior Development Manager Stacey Dutton:

“If you have been touched by cancer, if you haven’t been touched by cancer and you are blessed not to know anybody who has been touched by cancer, please volunteer. You can reach out to me at 309-214-9012 and I’d be happy just to visit with you of what volunteering means and how much time do you have to give. We definitely have a spot for everyone. We want to represent our community and so we really need some volunteers to help us do that; to plan and help raise awareness in the community.”

Additionally, if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, the American Cancer Helpline is available 24/7 by calling 1-800-227-2345.
