Former Old Dairy Location to be Transformed into Multi-use Community Space

Share

On South A Street where the old dairy building was located in the City of Monmouth, City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher says the space will be transformed to a small parking lot and green space:

“It will be a small parking lot area to help provide some of the parking needs for the library and the Buchanan Center and that area. The main feature is there will be a wide sidewalk that will have a wooden pergola over it and create some space with picnic tables to maybe have some food vendors or food trailers along there; just a place in the summertime for people to go and have lunch.”

This project is on schedule to be completed sometime this summer.
