The 50th Anniversary of Title IX is being celebrated this year and it has an added significance for the current IHSA board president. Current Rockridge High School Principal and IHSA Board of Director’s President Katy Hasson is just the second woman to serve as the organization’s president since its inception in 1903.
Hasson was first elected to the IHSA board in 2016 and this is her second school year serving as their president.
