Henderson County Deputies Respond to Three Vehicle Accident

On Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 at 9:52am the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Hancock/Henderson 911 received reports of a motor vehicle accident on US 34 at 850E. Initial reports indicated 1 person was injured and 3 vehicles were involved. When the Deputy arrived on scene the east bound lane was blocked by the accident. All traffic was stopped for scene safety for the first responders. 1 person was extracted from a vehicle by the Gladstone and Biggsville Fire Departments. The person extracted received minor injuries from the crash and was transported to Southeast Iowa Medical by the Burlington Fire Department. The Illinois State Police is handling the accident. Any additional information about the accident will be released by the State Police. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Gladstone Fire Department, Biggsville Fire Department, Burlington Fire Department, Illinois State Police, Dallas City Police Department, Burlington Police Department, DesMoines County Sheriff’s Office, and Berg’s Towing.
