Italian Village Under New Ownership

The Italian Village in Monmouth is under new ownership. Matt Greenlief, Kayla Wade and Albert and Sarah Teel are now business partners and have purchased the restaurant from former owners Andy Doyle and Doug Tatman. A local icon in the Monmouth community, local businessman Matt Greenlief shares the inspiration behind purchasing the Italian Village:

“Just to be a part of the local icon. I think when a lot of people move away, they think about when they come home, back to Monmouth, they have to get some Italian Village. Back as a kid, we celebrated our wins and our losses in football and baseball, contemplated what we could have done better. Whatever it was, we always went to the Italian Village. We wanted to keep that tradition going.”

The Italian Village has been a staple in the Monmouth community since 1957.
