Joyce Easley, age 86 of Macomb, Illinois, formerly of Delong, Illinois, died at 8:57 A.M. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Wesley Village, Macomb, Illinois.

She was born on May 9, 1935 in Coal Valley, Illinois the daughter of Robert and Gladys (Akers) Lowery. She was raised in Galesburg, Illinois and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1953. She married Raymond H. Easley on January 17, 1954 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Galesburg, Illinois. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children: Linda (Rick) Kern of Nelson, Virginia; Robert (Debbie) Easley of Avon, Illinois; Karen Husband of Macomb, Illinois; John Easley of Williamsfield, Illinois; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; one sister, Delores Blust of Oneida, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She retired from the Former Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Knoxville, Illinois as a CNA. She was a member of the Knoxville United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Illinois.

Cremation will be accorded. Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Haynes Cemetery in Rural Delong, Illinois, with the Rev. Dave Mustain officiating. A Fellowship will follow the services at 11:45 A.M. at the Knoxville United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Illinois. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory are in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Knoxville United Methodist Church or Hospice Compassus On-line condolences and/or expressions of sympathy may be sent through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com
