Relay For Life of Knox County will host their annual community event in support of the American Cancer Society.

This free event will be celebrated at the Galesburg High School practice field on Saturday, June 11th 6-10pm. The event will celebrate cancer survivors with a special lap, recognize Relay teams who have conducted fundraising all year, and honor those touched by cancer with a dedicated luminaria lap at 9pm. Food, entertainment, a silent auction and activities are also planned.

Interested survivors may register for the event on the website, http://relayforlife.com/knoxil, although everyone is welcome to the event. Luminaria in honor or memory of loved ones may be purchased on the website by June 10th and will be displayed at the event. Join in the celebration by following Relay For Life of Knox County on Facebook (@relayforlifekc).
