On Wednesday, June 8th in the Quad Cities and Thursday, June 9th in Peoria, “Ag in a Day” teacher workshops will be held, hosted by Bureau, Henry, Knox, Mercer, Stark, and Warren-Henderson County farm bureaus, shares Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Manager Gina Long:

“We put together speakers and ag tours in our local area that we want to expose to teachers and provide ag lessons and resources and takeaways that they can hopefully incorporate back into their classrooms. Also, at the same time give them an idea of an ag area or business they may not have currently been aware of.”

Professional development credits will be available to attendees. The workshops are $10 a teacher per day, which teachers and educators are invited to attend one or both days. For more information, visit http://whfarmbureau.org.
