Share

The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has passed the addition of Competitive Cheerleading at the high school, says Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“Basically, kids are learning choreographed routines based on music and are doing jumps, flips, and all the stunts. It is another opportunity for kids to be a part of something.”

Competitive Cheerleading is an IHSA sport with sectionals and a state series where participants will compete in competitions based on the number of individuals to field either a large, medium, small, or co-ed teams.
