Monmouth-Roseville Softball Preparing to Host First Postseason Game in Program History

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan softball team is getting ready to host its first postseason game in Titan softball program history on Monday at Monmouth Park. The (6-15) Titans earned the 9th seed in their sub-sectional and will take on (3-18) 10th seeded Deer Creek Mackinaw. The Titans have split their last four games, getting victories over Orion and BPC.

The Monmouth-Roseville softball team has been playing well over their latest stretch of games. The Titans have finally been able to consistently get onto the field due to a good run of weather. Monmouth-Roseville fell to a strong Sherrard team on Monday 10-3. The Titans struggled with defensive lapses early on that resulted in unearned runs for the Tigers. Monmouth-Roseville then bounced back with a 13-0 victory over BPC on Tuesday. Head coach Jarrod Hippen is proud of the production he is getting all the way through the lineup and hopes to see this success continue into the postseason.
