Chicago Offers to Pay for Security Devices

Share

Chicago is offering to pay for security devices to protect homeowners, renters and business owners in the city.  Mayor Lightfoot announced the launch of the Home and Business Protection Program.

“This program represents a $5.4 million investment over the next two years. It is open to all Chicago residents, businesses, religious institutions, and nonprofit organizations, and renters.”

Anyone who lives in Chicago, operates a business in the city, or owns or leases a vehicle registered to a primary address within the city limits will be able to receive reimbursement from the City to cover the costs of private security devices to protect their property.
