Do You Qualify for Reduced License Plate Fee Costs?

Those 65 and older could be eligible to receive a discount on license plate renewal fees for the state of Illinois through the Benefit Access Program. Strom Center Director Carol McCrery has the details:

“It is a program that allows persons to get a reduction in their license plates fees from $151 a year to $24 a year. That is a two year program. The only eligibility requirements is you be 65 or older and or disabled and that your household income must be below $33,562 if you are single and $44,533 if you are a married couple.”
