Illinois Tight End Signs NIL Deal With WWE

Illinois football player Luke Ford is planning to be a professional wrestler in the future.  The senior tight end is one of 15 college athletes who joined WWE’s NIL program.  The “Next In Line” program provides a clear pathway from collegiate athletics to WWE.  Ford is entering his third full season with the Illini football program.  The Carterville native had 15 catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns last season.
