New Law Makes It Easier for Men in IL to Get Prostate Cancer Screenings

Share

A new state law will make it easier for men in Illinois to get prostate cancer screenings. The measure requires health insurers to cover prostate screenings without imposing a deductible, co-pay or any other cost-sharing fee, says Governor JB Pritzker:

“Preventative healthcare is the best healthcare of all, and it shouldn’t break the bank to access it, even if too often in this country it does.”

The law takes effect in January of 2024.
