Keegan Thompson lasted just three innings in the Cubs’ 9-3 loss to the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. Thompson allowed seven runs on five hits and was charged with his first loss of the season. Christopher Morel had a triple, a home run, and two RBI in the losing effort, and Willson Contreras also went yard. Alec Mills pitched five innings of relief in his return from the injured list, and he gave up just two runs. The Cubs fall to 23-and-33.
