U of I Extension Educator, Commercial Agriculture Dr. Chelsea Harbach Says Tar Spots May Be a Concern

After crazy weather this spring and hot temperatures before the official start of summer, depending on the weather going forward, concerns about tar spots on corn, which is tricky to manage, especially with warm temperatures. University of Illinois Extension Commercial Agriculture Educator Dr. Chelsea Harbach offers these tips when applying fungicide:

Harbach also advises when selecting a chemistry, make sure you are selecting a mix to help expedite the process of fungicide resistance of the population.
