Alexandria M. ” Lexi ” Payne
Alexandria M. ” Lexi ” Payne, age 12, daughter of Jolleen and Nathaniel Payne of Cameron, Illinois; passed away at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois after a life long battle with her asthma. Lexi was born on January 22, 2010 in Galesburg, Illinois and is the daughter of Nathaniel Joseph and Jolleen Amber Sue Otten Payne. Lexi attends school at United Junior High and would be going into the seventh grade this fall. She was on the High Honor Roll at her school and enjoyed sports and swimming in their backyard pool. She is a member of Warren County 4H and the Cameron Christian Church where she was Baptized. Lexi is survived by her parents, Jolleen and Nathaniel Payne of Cameron, Illinois and Lexi’s sister, Rory Nova Payne at home. Her maternal grandparents, Alan and Rosa Otten of Cameron, Illinois and Paternal grandparents, Charles and (Rachel Carr) Payne of Monmouth, Illinois are surviving. Also her paternal grandparents Stephanie and Ron Knoedler survive in St. Louis, Missouri. There are four uncles, two aunts, and a number of cousins also surviving her. She is preceded in her death by her great grandparents.
A funeral service and interment is planned on Saturday morning July 30, 2022 at the Cameron Christian Church in Cameron, Illinois at 10:00 am. Her interment is planned to follow at the Silent Home Cemetery of Cameron. Her family plans visitation and will receive friends at Cameron Christian Church on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Donations may be made for the ” Lexi Memorial Fund “.
