Katherine I. Upp of Lakeland, Florida formally of Galesburg, Illinois passed away on June 23rd, 2022 at the age of 95. She was born on January 28th, 1927 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Leona Lee. Katherine graduated from Galesburg High School in Galesburg, Illinois and went on to work as an accountant at CNA Financial Corporation in Chicago, Illinois for 33 years.

Katherine and Howard (1926-2004) were married on June 16th, 1945 in Galesburg, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard M. Upp, her parents, Joseph and Leona Lee and one brother Gerald. She is survived by lifelong special friends Susan Arehart, Glen Arehart, and their four children Lisa (Joseph) Schneider, David, Megan (Zach) Miller, and Michelle.

Graveside services will be held by Hurd Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois on July 15th at 11:00 A.M. at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois.  Memorials may be made to Good Shepard Hospice in Lakeland, Florida.
