Monmouth Police Department Cracking Down on Moving Violations this National Speed Awareness Day

Today is National Highway Traffic Safety Administrator Region 5 high visibility Speed Awareness Day and the Illinois State Police along with local law enforcement officers are participating in the campaign to combat speeding on the roadways, says Monmouth Police Chief Joe Switzer:

The Monmouth Police Department issued 85 speeding ordinance violations in June alone.
