Nextlink Internet, (“Nextlink”) a leading provider of rural fiber and wireless internet and voice solutions, donated $500 to FISH of Galesburg. This donation was part of Nextlink’s ongoing Giving Back Campaign: donating funding to local non-profit organizations in the communities that it serves.

FISH of Galesburg is an emergency food pantry which has been helping to feed the hungry of Knox County since 1970. The mission of FISH is to provide food for those in need. FISH depends on the donation of nonperishable food items as well as monetary donations from individuals, churches, local civic organizations, and businesses. All FISH workers are volunteers and on average, 94% of funds expended are used to feed the hungry.

Jason Talley, Regional Director of Operations for Nextlink Internet, noted, “At Nextlink, we seek to be a local company in every community we serve. So, it’s very important for us to give back to the communities who trust us to provide their connectivity solutions. FISH of Galesburg is a wonderful organization who helps those in need. By donating to their organization, we can help this community thrive.”
