OSF to Open OnCall Urgent Care Clinic in Galesburg
To continue meeting the healthcare needs of the local community, OSF HealthCare will be opening an OnCall Urgent Care location, as well as relocating their current Prompt Care to their St. Mary’s south campus, explains OSF HealthCare Holy Family and St. Mary’s President Lisa DeKezel:
“We are opening an OSF OnCall Urgent Care, which is a physical site. That has been in the works for about a year now and we did identify the site and will be moving in in October in Galesburg. We are also relocating the Galesburg Prompt Care down to St. Mary’s South, the former emergency department that was at the former Cottage Emergency Department, which is now our St. Mary’s South campus. We are going to convert that ED to a larger Prompt Care. We really are at capacity at our Galesburg Prompt Care, so that will give us an opportunity to increase our bandwidth.”
The OnCall Urgent Care Clinic will be located around the Walmart location in Galesburg.
