William Daniel Kenney, age 70, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 10:01 AM at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.  He was born on March 28, 1952, a son of Frederick and Martha Kenney.

He is survived by his partner, Denise Motz of Galesburg, a son, Ryan Kenney of Cape Coral, Florida, a daughter, Lissa (Josh) Dickerson of Galesburg, Dustin Kenney of Wataga IL, six grandchildren, Brittany and Brenna Kenney of Cape Coral, Florida, Jameson and Jainee Dickerson of Galesburg, Dylan and Alice Kenney of Bartonville, Illinois, a sister, Deanna (Steve) Mathers of Galesburg. 

He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.  William enjoyed watching NASCAR races.  Among his favorite things to do was the time he spent boating and fishing.    

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the funeral home. Following the Celebration friends may join the family at Jigg’s Cardinal Inn 123 S. Main St., Alexis.
