The Warren County YMCA will host their first annual Doggie Splash at the outdoor Pattee Water Park on Saturday, August 20th. Healthy Living Director Staci Bass has the details:
“It is our last day open. After that we will drain the pool, clean it. It will be spick and span for next summer. If you have a dog that is under 50 pounds, your time will be 10 to 11 am. It cost $10 for your dog and for yourself. If you have a second adult that wants to come in or even if you just want to spectate, it is $5 for that person. Then the second hour is for 50 pounds and up. You have to be 16 years old to bring your pet and you must bring either your shot record or your tags. We do ask that the dogs are friendly with other animals and humans.”
This community event will benefit Western Illinois Animal Rescue. More details can be found on the Warren County YMCA Facebook page.
