The Abingdon-Avon Tornadoes football team looks to start their Lincoln Trail Conference Championship title defense this Friday on the road. The Tornadoes finished (10-2) and head coach Rick Quinn says that the team’s off-season program has helped the team stay motivated and focused for the new season.
The Tornadoes first game will be played at ROWVA High School on August 26th against the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougar co-op, and their home opener will be September 2nd against Stark County. That game will be played at Galesburg High School because of the new football field at Abingdon-Avon High School being not quite ready for play. For the full interview with Coach Quinn, click HERE
