Benny G. Anderson, 90, of Roseville, IL, passed away at 11:20 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2022, in his home. He was born January 11, 1932, in Roseville, the son of Albert and Leola (Adkisson) Anderson. After completing high school Benny joined the United States Army and served in the Korean War as a Military Police Officer. 

He married Genevieve Eack on June 23, 1950 and she survives.

Benny was a 3rd generation farmer and farmed all his life. He also worked as a crop adjuster for Rain and Hail for 30 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Freemasons. He enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, working with cattle and he loved his cat, Gertrude.

Surviving Benny are his wife of 72 years, Genevieve of Roseville; son, Dale (Kim) Anderson of Roseville; daughter, Lori Anderson of Monmouth; granddaughter, ShaniahAnderson; step-grandsons, Britt and Pierce Reeves and step-great-grandson, Jensen Reeves.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Helen Rigg.
