Doris L. Senner, age 98, of Henderson, Illinois died at 2:20 AM on Saturday, August 12, 2022 at Marigold Rehab & Health Care Center in Galesburg, Illinois.

She was born on February 26, 1924 in Creston, Iowa the daughter of Albin and Edna (Probasco) Nicholson. She married Arthur F. Senner on August 19, 1947 in Newton, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1991.

Surviving are her children: Deena (Paul) Allen of Henderson, Illinois, Pamela Firestone of Coulterville, Illinois, Arthur W. Senner of Henderson, Illinois, and David A. Senner of Canton, Illinois; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister, Juanita Foster of Oneida, Illinois; sister-in-law, Marlene Senner. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband and one son-in-law, Jimmy Firestone.

She worked for the former Admirals of Galesburg, Illinois. She was a member of the Henderson United Methodist Church in Henderson, Illinois. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and knitting.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oneida Cemetery in Oneida, Illinois, with Rev. Jeff Uddin officiating. Memorials contributions may be sent to the Henderson United Methodist Church in Henderson, Illinois. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Oneida, Illinois is handling her arrangements.
