The Galesburg Area Vocational Center combines classroom instruction with hands-on training experiences to local high school students in areas of auto-tech, nursing, construction, public safety, culinary arts, education, and Knox County Area Partnership President Ken Springer shares they will be taking students to Chicago in September for the largest international manufacturing show in North America:

“We just thought it would be really cool to get some of our younger students in the area a chance to go up and see the latest technology and to talk to different companies and in general just be surrounded by the latest in manufacturing technology for a day.”

The Galesburg Area Vocational Center assists students at Abingdon-Avon, ROWVA, Williamsfield, Monmouth-Roseville, Galesburg, United, Knoxville, and West Central.
