Governor Urges School Districts to Apply for Federal Clean School Bus Rebate Program

Share

Governor JB Pritzker is urging Illinois school districts to apply for the federal clean school bus rebate program. Applications are due by August 19th, so if school administrators haven’t checked out the program yet, they may want to do so says Governor Pritzker.

“There is a billion dollars available this year, thanks to the work they have done in Washington, D.C., our representatives. A billion dollars available to school districts to acquire zero emissions busses.”

The rebates are for schools replacing existing buses with low and no-emission versions. More information is available online at: epa dot gov slash clean school bus.
