Local Farmer and ASA Director Ron Moore Calls Crop Insurance a Key Priority in Next Farm Bill

With the Farm Bill set to expire next year, agricultural advocates and legislators have already begun discussions, addressing the next bill. Local farmer and American Soybean Association (ASA) Director Ron Moore says one key priority for the ASA is protecting crop insurance:

Moore states another area that needs to be expanded is conservation practices and securing additional funding into the Conservation Reserve Program and the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program for farmers and landowners.
