MFD Accepting Applications

The Monmouth Fire Department is currently accepting applications through October 7th ahead of the agility and written test for applicants on October 15th. Monmouth Fire Captain Craig Cozadd encourages anyone interested to reach out:

“Please if you have any questions, if you are interested in us at all and you meet the requirements, age requirements, there is actually very few overall requirements; you have to be 21, high school graduate, GED, things like that, but if you meet these requirements and you have an interest, even if you are not sure, contact us. We will talk to you, we will tell you everything there is to know about it and then you can make that decision. Don’t make the decision before you talk to us.”

An informational meeting about the department and the application process will be held on Thursday, September 1st at Station 1, 601 Industrial Park Road; beginning at 6 pm. More details can be found below:
