Missing Juvenile from Quincy Located

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Sheriff’s Deputies assisted the Quincy Police Department and the US Marshall’s Service in locating a missing juvenile in Warsaw, IL.

The juvenile had been missing from Quincy, IL since May 22, 2022. Deputies assisted in interviewing persons alleged to have knowledge of the juvenile’s whereabouts and in searching for the missing juvenile in homes in Warsaw.

The juvenile was located and reunited with their guardians.

During the investigation it was learned that the juvenile had associated and stayed with Nicholas C. Foster (20 of Warsaw, IL). Foster was wanted on a Lee County, IA warrant for 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse.

Foster was lodged in the Hancock County Jail and remains there pending a court appearance.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges are possible.

All arrested persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
