New Student Loan Repayment Program for Behavioral Health Professionals

Share

A new student loan repayment program for behavioral health professionals is now available. The repayment benefit is for eligible mental health and substance abuse professionals says Illinois Student Assistance Commission Spokesperson Lynne Baker.

“It is designed as more of an incentive for recruitment and retention. Right now there is a shortage of these folks, particularly in underserved and rural areas.”

More information about the new program is available online at: https://www.isac.org/. The deadline to apply is November 15th, although late applications will be considered if funding is still available.
