United Junior High Baseball Improves to 6-0

The United Red Storm boys beat Annawan/Weathersfield 15-2 on Monday in Jr. High baseball. The Red Storm scored 3 runs in each of the first two inning and never looked back as they improved to 6-0 on the season. Chance Stewart used the run support to gain the win with 6 strong innings allowing 2 runs on 2 hits with 13 strikeouts. Wyatt Stockdale threw 1 inning of perfect ball. Mason McKeown got United started with a 2 run double in the first. Koen Sperry singled home a run in the second and scored on a Collin Leary single. Leading 5-0 Mason McKeown doubled in another as the Red Storm ran away with this one. Mason McKeown led the Red Storm offensively going 4-5 with 3 doubles and 4 RBIs. Chance Stewart, Kellen Boone and Koen Sperry each had 2 hits while Collin Leary had 1.
