The Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team, a National Tournament qualifier in 2021, is off to a good start this season at 3-2-1. The Chargers remained in the NJCAA Division II rankings for the fourth straight week, coming in at No. 18 in the most recent poll released Monday. Sandburg dropped down two spots this week, following a 3-3 draw Sept. 14 at home against South Suburban. The Chargers have appeared in 17 of the last 18 NJCAA polls, dating back to the 2021 spring season. Head Coach for the Chargers, Victor Dantas, says the team is constantly growing and improving.
