Devon Wade Sworn-In as Monmouth’s Newest Firefighter

Devon Wade has been sworn-in as a new firefighter onto the Monmouth Fire Department, shares Communications Director Ken Helms:

“Devon Wade, he is a local guy. He comes from Little York. He just recently signed on with the department and he is going to be going through his training here shortly down in Champaign. They go through a multi-week program that gets them all the basic firefighting, some advanced firefighting, and they also do vehicle extrication and operator classes as well.”
