Donations Back to Being Accepted at JCC

Services continue to grow at the Jamieson Community Center. Over 200 are enrolled in Senior Nutrition throughout Henderson, Mercer, and Warren Counties, and Executive Director Nancy Mowen says an increased number of families are utilizing the food pantry. As food donations are once again being accepted, Director Mowen shares the current needs:

“Really anything. Think about what you eat in your household, same thing that other people eat in their households. We do request that the food not be expired and that it be in the original sealed container. If people have extra produce from their gardens, they can bring that in. That is very much appreciated by people that visit the pantry.”

The food pantry, along with the thrift store, is open Mondays through Fridays 10 am to 4 pm.
