Francis L. Nott, age 89, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Galesburg, Illinois & Yates City, Illinois died at 1:35 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Broward Memorial Health Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She was born on May 26, 1933 in LaSalle, Illinois the daughter of William and Frances (Gerace) Strohmaier. She married Robert L. Nott on June 4, 1954 in Bittburgh, Germany. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2002

Surviving is a daughter, Dawn Marie Beemer of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Robert Paul (Hae Kyong) Nott of Wiesbaden Germany; Five grandchildren: Breanne Nott Krasniuk, Bradley Nott of Hudson, Illinois, Anthony Avila of Peoria, Illinois and Amanda Avila of Dubuque, Iowa and Kaitlyn Nott of Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and Husband.

She worked for the former Maytag in Galesburg, Illinois for 23 years, retiring. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #880 in Knoxville, Illinois and a Red Hat Queen. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Galesburg, Illinois.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:30 AM at the Haynes Cemetery in rural Delong, Illinois with a celebration of life luncheon at the Immaculate Heart of Mary church hall at 1PM. Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Heart of May Catholic Church of the American Cancer Society.
