The Monmouth-Roseville Titans get a pair of goals from Ozzy Carmona and stave off a furious Galesburg rally at the end of a 2-1 non-conference win at Pattee Field in Monmouth. Carmona scored his 10th goal of the season in the first half as the Titans took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break. He would add his 11th goal of the season midway through the second half. Galesburg cut the deficit in half at 2-1 on Matthew Roach’s 17th goal of the season with just under four minutes remaining in the match. Monmouth-Roseville withstood several Galesburg chances in the final minutes to improve their overall record to (10-5-3). It was Galesburg’s first loss outside of Western Big Six Conference as they fall to (7-5-2) overall.
