Our dear Mother, Phyllis Ann Hoffman Wilcoxen, 89, of Urbana, Il, gently passed on 9-2-2022. She was born in Dunlap, Il on 9-30-1932. She attended Manual High School, participated in Glee Club and attended Bradley University, both in Peoria, Il. She married Virgil Wilcoxen in 1951 and moved to Gilson where they raised 3 daughters and made wonderful memories. She moved to Urbana, Il in 2007 to be near family who cherished her.


Predeceased by husband Virgil Wilcoxen, parents Fred Hoffman & Juanita Hunt Hoffman, siblings Harold & Charles Hoffman, Juanita Blanche Hoffman Stear & Isabelle Hoffman, granddaughter Lesli Lundquist, and great grandson Walter Ellenberg. Surviving are daughters Connie Ingrassia, Susan (Gregory) Pettit, Teresa (Thomas) Zefo, grandchildren Brian Lundquist, Evelyn (Dane) Ellenberg, Asa (Niki) Pettit, great grandchildren Sage and Aren Lundquist, William, Warren & Hazel Ellenberg, Ameea & Kalel Pettit, and many dear nieces and nephews.


Graveside burial attended by family at Gilson, Il cemetery on 9-6-2022 at 1pm. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in charge of local arrangements. On-line condolences and/or expressions of sympathy may be sent through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com
