Sandburg Theatre Open House, Auditions for ‘Clue’ Sept. 8

Carl Sandburg College’s theatre arts program will host a community open house and auditions for its fall musical, “Clue,” on Sept. 8 in the Fine Arts Theater (Room F118) on Sandburg’s Main Campus in Galesburg.

The open house will take place at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 and is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the program, how to get involved and ways to support it.

Auditions for “Clue” will follow at 8 p.m. and are open to Sandburg students as well as community members. For those not interested in an on-stage role, assistance is also needed with set-building, props, makeup, hair and costume creation. Based on the classic mystery board game of the same name, “Clue” includes several alternate endings.

For more information about the open house or auditions for “Clue,” contact Sandburg theater instructor Robert Thompson at 309.341.5287 or rthompson@sandburg.edu.
