U.S. Constitution Day Sept. 16 at WIU

U.S. Constitution Day will be celebrated at Western Illinois University Friday, Sept. 16 with a poster session and panel discussion.

The event is hosted by the WIU Centennial Honors College, in collaboration with University Libraries and WIU’s departments of Political Science and History. This year’s event celebrates the 14th amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

A poster session will be held in the University Union’s Brattain Lounge from 11 a.m.- noon, followed by a panel discussion in the Union’s Capitol Room from noon-1 p.m. Panelists include WIU Associate Vice President of Global Studies Randy Glean; Political Science Professor Erin Taylor and History Department Chair and Professor Tim Roberts. The panel will be moderated by WIU’s Dan and Laura Web Political Science Professor Richard J. Hardy.

The event will be livestreamed on WIU’s YouTube Channel (WesternIllinoisU).
